Does this brand offset carbon emissions and/or implement circular business practices?

They do not mention carbon emission offset. However, they do have some sort of circularity in their company: you can give them back your old pair of shoes and they will recycled them to create materials for new textiles, playgrounds, and outdoor sports fields.

87 million pairs of shoes end up in landfills yearly. In their Amsterdam-based clubhouse, customers can recycle their old footwear in return for a discount. They then hand over these pairs to their recycling partner, who will separate the upper from the outsole and, in turn, use them to create materials for new textiles, playgrounds, and outdoor sports fields.

No toxics materials can be found in these products.

Mercer works with a small amount of factories that are vetted and checked regularly by audit partners and themselves. The visits occur at least once every year.
