House of Marley has planted over 440,000 trees since 2017, offsetting carbon emissions.
Moreover, the bamboo, used in their products, is produced using a carbon-positive process (it grows quickly and absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, making it a carbon-positive material).
They have also measured the House of Marley Scope 1 and 2 Greenhouse Gas Emissions although it does not explain numbers.
One of their materials is recyclable aluminum. The aluminum recycling process has existed on a major scale—within communities and on an industrial-scale—for over 50 years, saving energy.
Another one of the products used is wood composite. The compositing process demands far less energy than the lumbering industry.
They also use recycled plastic. Recycling plastic conserves natural resources, and saves energy, reduces landfill space and decreases pollution in air and water sources

One of their fabrics (REWIND™) Is weaved from recycled materials to create a durable, high-quality product. It is made from 30% reclaimed organic cotton, 30% reclaimed hemp and 40% recycled PET. Moreover, they also utilise recyclable aluminum, an efficiently reusable metal that significantly reduces the amount of the material entering waste stream.
Another one of their materials, REGRIND™ Silicone, is a specially created material made by reclaiming and upcycling post-process and post-consumer waste. They also use stainless steel which is 100% recyclable.
Other recycled materials they use are plastic, PET, and metals, further reducing waste ending in landfills.
Lastly, House of Marley meets the requirements placed on them by financially supporting the national network of WEEE (The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment Directive). More information on where to find your nearest recycling centre in the UK, please visit this page
