ZAO is the first refillable make-up brand, 100% natural (minus nail polish), vegan and certified organic by Ecocert, and is driven by the desire to offer products that are good for the planet and the people while creating meaning. ZAO has created a natural bamboo packaging, and implements a recollection scheme for several of their refillable products. Zao was created in 2012 in France by four friends who were aware of the impact of our consumption on the environment, and decided to develop a brand of makeup in accordance with their deep values.
