What does this brand sell?
Watson & Wolfe was founded in 2017 in the UK by Helen Farr-Leander, who wanted to establish her own business using years of experience gained from the luxury leather industry. However, she wanted to do things differently: using high-quality materials to produce luxurious accessories, but with the lowest possible impact on our planet. Watson & Wolfe is conscious of the different lifestyles that you can lead as a professional, partner, friend, adventurer, and sportsman, and they have one product for everyone.
“To create a brand which adds value to the world, by educating consumers and delivering excellence to challenge perception and bring about change.”
The production of rPET lining was moved from Taiwan to Turkey, saving over 7,800km in transportation and thus, decreasing the CO2 emissions.

Did you know that fashion accounts for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions? By being a vegan brand, enables Watson and Wolfe to have a big impact on greenhouse gas emissions compared to the conventional leather industry.
The lining is made of rPET fabric and it requires less CO2 to manufacture compared to conventional material.
The corn as a raw material is sourced in North America and has a smaller environmental footprint than its petroleum-based alternatives, saving this way CO2 emissions. Moreover, the corn leather is made by using solar energy. The environmental gain from their green energy saves a total of 1,023,990 Kg of CO2 per year.
On the other hand, cactus is a natural sink and has a good CO2 sequestering capacity. The 14 acres on the supplier’s ranch can absorb 8,100 tons of CO2/year while only generating 15.30 tons of CO2 annually.
Lastly, aside from planting one tree when you place an order to offset a proportion of the carbon Watson and Wolfe generate, you can also donate additional trees by adding trees to your order.
By start of 2023, Watson & Wolve has planted over 3000 trees.
The lining is made of rPET fabric and it requires less energy to manufacture compared to conventional material.
The corn leather is made in a factory that is fully powered by photovoltaic solar energy generators.
Cactus leather is also made using green power.
The lining is made of rPET fabric and it requires less water to manufacture compared to conventional material. The rPET fabric dying process requires 60% less water compared to conventional systems.
It takes 200 litres of water to grow one kilogram of cactus biomass, which is absorbed by the plant itself from humidity present in the atmosphere, and just 3 leaves of the plant are used to make 1 linear metre of material.
No information on this is provided by the brand.
The lining of these products is made with 100% post-consumer plastics, giving this material a second life. Moreover, the gift boxes are made from 100% collected wastepaper and contain recycled fibre particles, reducing the amount of waste present on our planet.
No toxic materials are present in these products. The corn leather is chromium and PPD-free and the cactus is grown without the use of chemicals such as herbicides or pesticides.
Fair wage and all government taxes and benefits are paid and the employees have excellent working conditions. No child labour is present.
