Launched in the Netherlands in 2010, the Vegetarian Butcher was created from the need of a great meat lover who wanted to remove animals from the food chain without compromising on meaty taste and texture. It all initially started in the Hague and it has grown into a worldwide Food Revolution. The Vegetarian Butcher was created for meat lovers who would like to experience the taste of animal meat with vegetarian meat products. They have a wide range of meat substitutes (or “the new meat”, how they like calling it”, ranging from sausages, patties, mince meat, and empanadas, both plant-based and vegetarian.
