Analyze their supply chain: from the sourcing of raw materials to the people who make the product

Egg alternative Aquafaba 12x 200ml = £28.60

Victoria Sponge 184g = £3.90

Vegan vanilla cupcakes 180g = £4.00

By not having any dairy or eggs in their recipes, it results in fewer CO2 emissions. The Oggs liquid egg alternative used in the products generates approximately 5x less CO2 compared to a large egg, which means that for 1Kg of eggs replaced, Oggs saves enough CO2 to boil your kettle 21 times. They also use local suppliers in the UK to make their cakes, reducing emissions from transport

By Q1 2024, they have saved 3132 ton of CO2e by using OGGS Aquafaba instead of eggs.

Oggs is hoping that soon they will be functioning from 100% renewable sources.

1.9 million litres of water is needed per day when producing eggs. This number is considerably reduced when produced from aquafaba (liquid chickpea extract).
