About The Company

Get the ins and outs

Founded in Kenya in 2017, Ocean Sole produces art and toys from recycling flip-flops. This company employs over 90 people and recycles over 50,000 kg flip-flops per year. Their mission includes promoting marine conservation and creating employment in high-impact areas. Ocean Sole works with other businesses, communities, industries, and other not-for-profit organisations to support actions that will reduce, reuse and recycle marine and waterway waste.

They use their social enterprise to pay bonuses to employees and help facilitate payments for educating their children.
