Thanks to Dcycle, Neutrale is analysing its product’s lifecycle and compensating for all its emissions. To do this, the company has to undergo a complete trace of the production chain. After determining the exact carbon footprint of each of the products. Neutrale buys carbon credits from the UN from certified projects. Moreover, the production occurs in Spain and Portugal, thus reducing the transportation emissions.
By upcycling Pyratex, which is made of RPET bottles and upcycled cotton, Neutrale saves 11.9 Kg of CO2 per Kg produced.
When upcycling Pyratex, 29 KWh are saved per Kg produced.
Moreover, when it comes to organic cotton, the amount of energy used is reduced compared to growing regular cotton.
By using organic cotton, the consumption of water is reduced by 91%. Moreover, by upcycling Pyratex, 7762 litres of water are saved per Kg produced.

The production of organic cotton sustains the health of soils, and ecosystems, rather than using artificial inputs.
Neutrale offers the opportunity to send them back your old garment, where they will convert this into a new upcycled textile, making it ready for its next life cycle. This upcycled textile is called Pyratex, which is made of plastic bottles and upcycled cotton.
Neutrale uses natural dyes that are 100% biodegradable and 100% bio-compostable.
