Established back in 2012 in Spain, Lefrik designs and produces backpacks, urban bags, and travel accessories essentials which are made out of recycled plastic PET bottles. Lefrik believes that you can still look fashionable without using more natural resources and they believe in placing the people and the planet at the centre of their work. They believe in: Refuse (disposable plastic when possible), reduce (their plastic footprint), reuse (offering repair service), and recycling.

Producing recycled polyester from PET plastic bottles created 75% less CO2 emissions than virgin polyester. As the suppliers and fabric factories are located in China, they avoid unnecessary transportation when possible. In 2020 Lefrink saved 923 Ton of CO2 with the production of almost 60,000 backpacks.

There are no abuses nor child labour involved in their own or supply operations. Discrimination, and inhumane treatment are not acceptable in the workplace. Lastly, Lefrik ensures the safety and health of workers in the day-to-day operation with monetary compensation that complies with national standards.
