Ocean plastic is collected from Denmark and Indonesia

31L backpack = EUR 159.00

Nano bag = EUR 29.00

Dry bag = EUR 79.00

T-Shirt = EUR 39.00

The production facility is located in China due to its proximity to its clean-up programme in Indonesia.

To reduce CO2 emissions, transportation occurs by boat, as they are the least emission-intensive in relation to load volume.

However, for a while during the beginning of the pandemic, in order to meet delivery times, some of the transportation has occurred by truck or air freight (between 1 and 5% of the total procurement volume).

There is no current information on what GotBag energy usage looks like. However, part of the plastic materials that are difficult to recycle are being use to generate energy as an alternative to burning fossil fuels.

By acting with the latest scientific findings, GotBag saves water in their production process.

By cleaning the oceans, GOT BAG is preserving the marine biodiversity.

Every backpack is made with recycled plastic waste from the Western Pacific Ocean. Between 1.5 and 5 Kg of plastic waste are recycled for each product produced.

Over 950 tons of plastic has been collected from the ocean by the start of the first quarter of 2024.

To avoid further waste, every backpack has a 2 year warranty so they can be sent back for repair and can be used even longer.

The collected ocean plastic is cleaned with caustic soda before further processing to eliminate any chemicals that might have been present.
