What does this brand sell?
Ashoka Paris was founded in 2018 by the desire to move the lines of traditional luxury by creating a brand of fine leather goods, that are eco-responsible and vegan. They recycle various materials such as apple waste and plastic bottles to create new fabrics, and produce animal-free synthetic leathers for bags, belts and wallets.

Ashoka uses various materials that are upcycled, saving them from the trash. These include discarded apple peels grown for the food industry that are upcycled and made into new fabric, through drying the skin and reducing them to powders. They also use recycled plastic bottles for the inside lining of their bags. Per bag, around 2-3 PET bottles are saved from the trash.
No chemicals (acids, dissolvants) are used for the production of the bags, wallets or belts.
