AllPlants was founded in 2016 in London, UK, and makes food that is easy for anyone who wants to make the switch towards plants, one dish at a time. These meals are made by professional chefs and nutritionists. Allplants is one of the leading plant-based living platforms that has served millions of meals to homes UK-wide to people who want to follow healthier living.

In 2020, their kitchen and HQ changed to 100% renewable energy and conducted a Life Cycle Assessment to better understand the impact of their meals.

The insulation liners are made of 85% recycled post-industrial denim + PET and covered with 100% recycled MDPE. The outer carton is 100% recyclable and made of 50% recycled board.
The smoothie packaging is made from soft plastic and can be recycled. Glass jars can also be recycled.
They have joined 14 of the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK to create a Tech Zero taskforce to become Carbon Neutral / Climate Positive by 2030.

Allplants source all materials from suppliers who are based in the UK or within a 50-mile radius. Some of our ingredients, such as soy, can’t be sourced locally at the moment.
If seasonality doesn’t allow this, they are sourced within Europe and never air-freighted. For dry ingredients sourced further afield, again, we hold a 100% non-air-freight policy.

Eating just 3 plant-based meals every week for 1 year saves 600kG of CO2, which is the equivalent of driving from London to Egypt. Additionally, In the span of 5 years, allplants’ food alone has saved over 3,600 tonnes of carbon dioxide from being produced due to not using livestock which is the equivalent of over 44 million plastic bottles being produced.
Allplants is working towards becoming Net-Zero by 2030 and will continue to offset what cannot be reduced or removed. They have carbon-neutral delivery.
Moreover, by using their new packaging liners that come from upcycled materials, allplants manages to approximately halve their CO2 footprint. This is also lighter (as well as their boxes), than the conventional board which means that there is less CO2 to ship.
Lastly, in 2022 alone, Allplants prevented 58.7 tons of CO2e by rescuing food.

100% renewable energy is used in their kitchen and headquarters.
It takes between 15,000 and 20,000 litres of water to produce just one kg of beef. Eating just 3 plant-based meals every week for 1 year saves 370,000 litres of water, which is equivalent to leaving the shower on straight for 33 days. By 2021, allplants collectively saved over 2 billion litres of water.
Eating just 3 plant-based meals every week for 1 year saves almost 1 acre of land, which could be used to plant over 1,000 trees and improve biodiversity. By 2021, allplants helped save over 4,000 acres of land, which is comparable to almost 2,600 football pitches.
Allplants works with nature to revitalise land and create healthy soil that can store carbon and grow nutritious food.
Allplants reduces surplus resources in their supply chain and handles any remaining excess food and packaging.
Additionally, allplants have managed to change their packaging and their new liners are made of a mix of upcycled denim and recycled plastic bottles. You can return these to them so they can reuse them again.
No toxic ingredients are used in the production of these meals.
As a B Corp Company and being part of the London Living Wage Employers, allplants reduces inequality, and creates more high-quality jobs with dignity and purpose for a living wage.
