In 2002, the two founders Maarten and Matthijs first visited Costa Rica and after falling in love with the rainforest, they set up the Work with Nature Foundation in 2011 to protect the forest’s biodiversity. Since then, the foundations has been expanding and now consists of a board, advisory board and a large number of volunteers. You can adopt a piece of rainforest to compensate for your carbon emissions and help protect biodiversity in Costa Rica.
To protect Costa Rican rainforest and facilitate research in the area, with an aim of actively protecting 2000 hectares of rainforest.
